Expect Less, Few Only Stands During Execution — Kabir Narayan Jha
One of the toughest things in life, for me, is not just talking about what you want to do but actually being able to implement it. I’ve had many teachers who spoke well, gave great advice, but when it came to living by those words, they fell short. That always felt wrong to me. If you’re going to preach something, you should have experienced it yourself.
I’ve also had friends who often talked about big dreams — getting in great shape, achieving huge goals — but when it came to execution, the effort just wasn’t there.
When I brought this up to my teachers and friends, I decided to take a different route. I made an execution plan and began acting on it, regardless of the outcome. As I started, something unexpected happened — I found myself alone. No one stayed by my side because of my drive to follow through. I wasn’t perfect, and I couldn’t always give 100%, but at least I was moving forward, taking steps.
That’s when I started achieving things, like writing my book Reinvent Yourself, creating music albums, podcasts, and so much more. These accomplishments didn’t come with support; they came from isolation, from the space that no one was willing to join me in when I began to execute.
I wrote a quote from this lesson I learned:
“Not everyone will walk with you, some just talk. Find those who can do both, because execution is what matters. Talk is easy, but action is what counts.” — Kabir Narayan Jha
And remember, if you find someone who stands by you in your zero stage, during the execution phase without caring about immediate results — hold on to them. That person is a rare gem, someone worth keeping. It’s tough, but not impossible to find.
