From Coding to AI: My Journey into the World of Technology and Machine Learning — Kabir Narayan Jha
My journey with technology began when I was just a kid. I was always fascinated by tech gadgets and loved exploring how they worked. In 2013, I took my first steps into programming, and that was the start of a deeper dive into the world of technology.
The movie Iron Man sparked my interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). This inspiration led me to learn about tools like scikit-learn and OpenCV. As I delved deeper, particularly when I started working on humanoid robots, I expanded my knowledge to include Natural Language Processing (NLP) with libraries like NLTK.
Working with AI is vastly different from traditional programming. In basic coding, when we provide instructions, the program follows them precisely. However, with AI and ML, the system learns from data and adapts over time. It has a form of thinking capability, almost like a human, and we measure its progress in terms of accuracy.
During this journey, I realized that it can be challenging to fully trust technology. Whether you’re working with traditional programming languages or advanced AI, mistakes can happen. That’s why it’s crucial to trust in your own skills and focus on developing the best strategies for building AI products. With careful planning and execution, you can ensure that your AI solutions perform optimally in most situations.
