Make Your Hope Fuel the Dream — Kabir Narayan Jha
I’ve always had big dreams — no, really big dreams. While most people aim for their first crore, I’ve always set my sights on 100 crores, even when I was flat broke. I wanted to be like Marcos, despite not being in the best of health. Chasing lofty, seemingly unrealistic dreams often makes you feel like you’re out of touch with reality, right? People will mock you for having such grand aspirations without a clear, realistic path. But you know what? It’s okay to dream big.
What matters most is the action you take. Dreams without action remain fantasies, but action — whether it leads to success or failure — creates momentum. I tried everything I could to become like Marcos. I gave it my all, but I failed, and I failed hard.
Eventually, I became a software engineer, a professional route far from my original vision. But even now, I’m still dreaming big — my sights are still on that 100-crore mark. Sure, earning 30k a month and dreaming of such massive wealth can feel demotivating at times. But it’s the hope behind these dreams that keeps me going. It’s a fuel that pushes me forward, no matter the odds.
I started my investing journey at 22, knowing I had a long runway ahead of me. I could afford to take risks and chase big goals. Focusing on the 100-crore dream frees me from worrying about smaller goals, like owning a home — goals that might seem huge to someone else.
I even wrote a quote to sum it up:
