Never Disrupt Current Situation, For the Greed to Achieve More — Kabir Narayan Jha
As a software engineer, I want to share some insights about the amazing world of software engineers. Software engineers are incredibly creative and capable of achieving impressive things. Alongside their talent, they also have the potential to earn well with relatively less physical effort. However, this comes with its own challenges, including stress and health issues — which you may already know. But that’s not the main point of this article.
The reason I bring this up is that software engineers have significant earning potential. Yet, many times, when switching jobs or pursuing new opportunities, they overlook the importance of financial planning. They often spend freely without saving or managing what they have earned. With ample resources, they may lose track of how to maintain their financial stability and prepare for unforeseen circumstances.
Perhaps I’m generalizing, but this is based on my own experience and discussions with many colleagues. The issue is that people often feel unsatisfied with what they have, so they push themselves to do more without proper mental management, and it can feel like their minds are no longer under their control.
With this in mind, I wrote a quote to highlight this situation:
“Never disrupt your current stable situation just to chase a new opportunity. It might cost you your peace of mind if you overlook something.” — Kabir Narayan Jha
