I truly understood the real meaning of the quote I wrote when I was deeply frustrated while working on Capgemini’s largest global project. In my team, we were the only ones handling this project, and we dealt with nearly 9 million transactions every day.

Satisfied life motivational quotes

I’ve always dreamed of achieving big things, as I’ve mentioned in many of my blogs, and I still have many grand ambitions. But during that time, I realized the cost of pursuing them. I sacrificed my health in exchange for a salary that, in the end, wasn’t enough.

Many young people today trade their health for early success, which is not a wise choice. When I faced serious health issues, I finally understood the true meaning of a satisfied mind and good health. That realization put me on a path toward peace of mind and the principles of simple living.

Not chasing after luxury and embracing a minimalist lifestyle has brought me a kind of happiness that even millionaires and billionaires might never experience. I still aspire to be a billionaire, but not at the expense of my health, peace, and happiness. This is why I wrote the quote:

“If you want to live a happy and fulfilling life, you must master the art of having a satisfied mind with whatever you have.” — Kabir Narayan Jha
