Shape the People Mind, With Your Efforts — Kabir Narayan Jha
This is my real experience: our life is like a dummy. The way you treat it, it will start working the same way. From my childhood, I was never the special child; I never had special treatment from anyone. By “special,” I mean the basic things a child wants, like having your parents pick you up from school, supporting the ideas you believe in, time to play with friends, or receiving birthday gifts and wishes.
I didn’t get many of these things in my childhood, which eventually became a source of trauma for me. But you know what? Sometimes, trauma makes you so strong that it starts feeling like a blessing. Because of those experiences, I learned how to live alone, deal with emotions, work hard, be patient, and most importantly, how to achieve something when you’re starting from zero and have nothing.
All these skills made me confident enough to handle almost anything. By the way, the credit for all of this goes to God, who supported me at every moment. For me, that’s Krishna. The people who used to think I was useless now have to meet me on my terms because I worked so hard on myself and changed.
From this experience, I learned a great lesson: we can shape people’s minds with our efforts. So I wrote a quote about it: “Shape people’s minds with your efforts.” — Kabir Narayan Jha
The human mind is unpredictable and can be like a dummy — it can be changed. It’s hard to trust, so I don’t focus on changing others’ minds. Instead, I’ve learned to focus on improving my own.
