Trusting Myself: How Ignoring Doubts Led to 12,000 Students and Success — Kabir Narayan Jha
I used to seek validation from others for my ideas. But I learned that not everything can be validated by asking others. In 2019, I had an idea to create a machine learning course, but many people told me to focus on normal coding skills instead. They didn’t see the potential of AI and machine learning.
Despite their doubts, I created the course for fun. And to my surprise, over 12,000 students enrolled on Udemy! I connected with people worldwide, received helpful and hurtful comments, but I experienced amazing things.
This taught me a valuable lesson: no one can make your ideas a reality except you. So, listen to others, but don’t limit yourself to their thoughts. Work hard and strive to achieve more than anyone can imagine.
I realized that if I had listened to others, I would have missed out on an incredible opportunity. Instead, I took a chance on myself and my idea, and it paid off in ways I never could have imagined.
Now, I want to encourage you to do the same. Don’t let others dictate what you can or can’t achieve. Believe in yourself and your ideas, and take the leap. You never know what amazing things might happen.
